Five Dollar Divas has just introduced a program to encourage teens to get good grades!

The program called “Accessories for A’s” will encourage young women to achieve academic excellence by giving away fashion accessories for an A grade.

With each order placed on the website, a free accessory is given away to teens between the ages of 13-18 that show proof of their report card grade. Students can email grades to a representative at the Five Dollar Divas office or post grade information on the Five Dollar Divas Facebook page.

Founder, Heather Happ, hopes that this new program will bring young women that are fashion savvy to think about beauty benefits as being smart.

“The concept is simple, if girls do well, they are rewarded with something that makes them feel good about themselves.”

She talks about her inspiration to start the smart program,”The inspiration behind this program is an idea I had because of my mother. My mom gives all the children in the family money for A grades. I have seen first hand the positive response that “rewards for good grades” has and I thought inspiring young girls in this way would be gratifying. I have a teenage sister and want nothing but the best for her. Success begins with education so the Accessories for A’s program is something I enjoy promoting.”

Although the program just started, the program is a success, Happ say’s students are already submitting their grades.

Five Dollar Divas is an E-Commerce website born in New York and offers a wide collection of styles at great prices, from earrings to toe rings and everything in between. It’s even had items featured in top fashion magazines.
